North Eastern Baseball Association

The North Eastern Baseball Association (NEBA) is a shining example of an inclusive and welcoming sports league. With both senior and junior competitions, NEBA encourages participation from people of all ages and abilities, including women, children, and seniors. Teams from Albury, Wodonga, Porepunkah, Wangaratta, and Benalla make up the league, creating a diverse and competitive atmosphere.

One of the great things about NEBA is its commitment to fostering an environment where everyone feels welcome and included. No matter your age, gender, or ability, there is a place for you in the league. This is particularly evident in the junior competition, where children as young as six can participate in the modified baseball program. This program is designed to introduce kids to the sport of baseball and develop their skills in a fun and safe environment.

The senior competition is equally as inclusive, with teams consisting of players from all walks of life. The league encourages women to participate and is proud to have a number of female players who compete at a high level. It’s also worth noting that NEBA is home to a number of senior players, proving that baseball is a sport for all ages.

NEBA is also committed to ensuring that everyone has the opportunity to participate, regardless of their ability. One of the great things about NEBA is the sense of community that it fosters. The league is made up of teams from small towns and cities in the North Eastern region of Victoria, and this creates a sense of camaraderie and connection between players and fans alike. NEBA is more than just a sports league; it’s a community of people who love the game of baseball and want to share that passion with others.

The North Eastern Baseball Association is a shining example of an inclusive and welcoming sports league. With its commitment to diversity, inclusion, and community, NEBA is a place where everyone can feel at home. Whether you’re a child just starting out in the modified junior programs, a senior player looking to stay active, or anyone in between, NEBA has a place for you. So why not grab a mitt, head out to the diamond, and join in the fun?
