Wangaratta Rangers Junior program returns

The weather couldn’t have been better for the return of Baseball in Wangaratta on Thursday 12^th November. Over 30 children took the diamond and were taught the basics of baseball and teeball by some experienced members of the Rangers.

With all the Covid-19 restrictions in place the children from 6 years old to 14 were taught base running, throwing, catching, pitching and hitting drills from 5.30-6.30. It was great to hear the groan of disappointment when it was announced that training was over.

The Rangers will return to Targoora Park next Thursday at 5.30pm for the second session of the four scheduled.
